Born in Boston, United States. Lives and works in Amsterdam.

Daria Birang studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and AKI, Academy for Fine Arts in Enschede (the Netherlands), from which she holds a BFA. An artist of Iranian and Dutch origin, her work ranges from painting and collage to designing and curating photo books and exhibitions to art direction, all related to photography. She collaborates with some of the most recognized photographers working today.

She has two kids, Vito (14) and Uma (10)
